About Me
I am Lyssa Wade Photographer, videographer, editor and web-designer; I am a 2011 Grand View University Graduate.
I have a seven-year-old soapbox kid who is my world and inspiration. I have been shooting for eight years, B&W film is my favorite yet, my pocketbook can’t afford to develop my creations in a timely fashion, so I do a lot of digital work these days. My instrument of choice is a Canon Mark II 1 d Canon 40D and My newest friend is a Canon 7d with HD video capabilities which has opened a whole new world for me.
I Shoot weddings, Families, seniors, products, for fun and for my sanity, I can do anything that is asked and if I can’t I’ll work at it until I can.
I like to travel most recently I went to Cusco, Puerto Maldonado, and other areas in Peru, I love to drive long distances so I can observe mans playground at eye level take, my time be leisure and photograph my surroundings without dealing with TSA’s rules regulations and attitude. Upon returning to Iowa I realized my hard drive crashed and I’ve lost 6 years worth of work and it’ll cost a small fortune to have the drive rebuilt so sorry for the lack of variety, I’ve learned my lesson back it up.
I consider myself an old soul, laid back funky kid, I enjoy my time, I love to create memories and enjoy the moments that life offers. Gardening and yard word are a must, and I am solar powered to the fullest and get my strength from the moon. Music is key to me as is my camera. In a nutshell thats me!
